Taxing Tomorrow’s Generation Without Representation

Where ever you stand on taxes, you probably at least believe that a group of taxed people should have representation in government decisions. Thus, we cry foul at “taxation without representation”. A large governmental debt is essentially taxation without representation for future generations. We today spend the money that has to be paid for much later through gathering taxes on later generations. But these later generations are currently children and the unborn, and so they have no vote, no voice, and no representation in the big spending decisions that we are making today. Disgraceful.
