It is often said that the different political groups have the same good and kind end goal, but they simply have a different method or approach to try to obtain that goal. The exact opposite is true. They use the same method, that of coercion, to achieve very different end goals. Although the two parties sometimes advocate for freedom and individual rights in some cases, here are their faults: Republicans have the end goal of order and the forced observance of their personal moral practice onto others through tools of coercion, while Democrats often times have the end goal of outcome equality in comfort, happiness, and material possessions, also through coercion. Libertarians, however, have a wildly different end goal: political freedom from coercion and respect for individual property rights. Their method is to leave you alone.
